Severus: She's jealous. She's ordinary. You're special.
Lily: That's mean, Severus.
Voldemort: I know what it feels like to be subjugated. [Snivellus, Greasy! Snivellus...] For others to for your talents.
Lily: Severus... Severus, please. We're friends.
Severus: No. Avada Kedavra!
Voldemort: You've been a good and faithful servant, Severus. You must be the one to kill Harry Potter.
Severus: I will.
Harry: Tell me! How it happened that night.
Voldemort: I think you have exactly what I'm looking for, Severus.
Harry: Sectumsempra!
Severus: You dare use my own spells against me, Potter? Your life is at an end.
STORY:
(For those who would like understand the full story - not everything is shown in the vid)
Severus and Lily are friends. When Lily chooses Severus's worst enemy, James Potter, over Severus, he is devastated. With little convincing from Voldemort he joins the Death Eaters and starts working as a double agent. After Wormtail reveals the location of the Potter cottage, Snape goes there and kills James and Lily (he feels some remorse after killing her) and leaves Harry for Voldemort. Unfortunately, you know Voldy, he is incompetent and the curse rebounds and Voldemort vanishes. Snape is able to convince Dumbledore that he is one of the good guys and agrees to start teaching potions at Hogwarts. When the Dark Lord returns, Snape resumes his work as a double agent, loyal to Voldemort. Harry discovers the truth about Snape's past from a Pensieve but it's already too late. Dumbledore is dead, the Death Eaters are taking over the school and Harry is killed by Snape at Voldemort's order. Snape and the Death Eaters live happily ever after.
Those of you who have been watching my videos for a longer time, know that Severus is my favourite character from HP. I am a huge fan of Snily, which is also very evident from my vids :) However, I've been always disappointed with the fact that the love for Lily was supposed to be the main factor that drove Severus to leave the Death Eaters, instead of him choosing what he thought was right. This video is an inversion of the original - his unrequited love for Lily is what makes Severus choose the Death Eaters and stay at Voldemort's side.

A few words on the recent J. K. Rowling controversy:
Time to address the elephant in the room. The elephant was brought here by the author of Harry Potter a couple of years ago and it has recently grown so much in size that it simply cannot be ignored any longer. I am deeply troubled by J. K. Rowling's tweets and her essay regarding trans people. I find her views to be biased, transphobic and hurtful.
I am bringing this up because vidding Harry Potter means, to some extent, promoting the author of the books. (Of course it would be naïve of me to claim that HP films are the only problematic ones out of all films and series I vidded. However, HP is special as it is a massive franchise with a massive fandom and an author who is active in social media.) Therefore, I want to make it clear that I do not agree with J. K. Rowling's opinions. Trans women are women and trans men are men. People who identify as trans or non-binary should be believed and respected.
I'm writing this not because I want to influence anyone's opinions, but to make it clear where I stand, and where I stand is not by the author of Harry Potter.
