Today I review the long awaited Evil Dead: The Game for Playstation 5! The game is a 4v1 asymmetrical multiplayer experience. There are playable characters from the entire series of Evil Dead, minus the remake. This includes the 80s original, Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn, Army of Darkness and Ash vs Evil Dead. There's plenty of Bruce Campbell goodness to go around, but does it live up to the expectations of the fans? How does this series fit into a modern, multiplayer framework? Do you need to worry about predatory microtransactions, and should you buy a physical copy? What the hell are spirit points? What's up with character progression and leveling? Can you play single player? What about those solo missions? I address all of this and more. Check it out!
