Just thought I'd provide a quick closing update to let you know that the new computer has been built! It runs really well and is a lot nicer overall, so not only can I resume where I left off, but there's a lot to look forward to.
I'm still getting used to this change, but it really seems like this huge upgrade will open up a lot of opportunities here and there. Everything's faster, and I can do things I normally couldn't do before (like render in 60fps without it taking 5 hours or so). I could probably even live stream work on a Game Suite Zone episode if I wanted to!
I'll definitely just casually explore some of the new options I have as time goes on, since I'm sure there's a lot I can take advantage of, but it feels great to invest more in the stuff I spend a lot of time doing.
