Moon Rocks (officially known as North Reno Recreation Area) is a 20,000 acre OHV area north of Reno managed by the BLM. Whether you have been to Moon Rocks and always wondered where the Smoke Line was or have always wanted to visit, we are going to cover everything you need to know about Moon Rocks in this video from what to bring to when to come, and even share some info on of our favorite single track trails. • Safety gear (helmet, head and neck restraint, gloves, goggles, boots,etc)
• Sun protection (sunscreen, sunglasses, wide brim hat)
• First aid kit
• Spare fuel
• Tools and spare parts
• Recovery gear (strap, shovel, d-rings)
• Communications (radios, CB)
• Food
• Firewood (no pallets)
