Abstract: In this talk I will give a high-level overview of what Shiny developers need to consider when working towards ADA compliance in their application. I will demonstrate how to use tools like Wave, and NVDA to validate a Shiny app's usability for people with different disabilities. Viewers will see how aria metadata is used by accessibility tools, and best practices for graphics.
