In this stream I play Radar Rat Race by Commodore Business Machines (1982) for the Everything C64 Discord October Challenge, played on a real C64.
This is a port of the VIC20 version of the knockoff port of Rally X for the C64 which lacks the Instructions attract screen at the start and the high score music at the end. The gameplay is practically identical to the VIC20 version so this is very playable for me as that was my first game I ever bought. I never did have this version so this is the most I've ever played it and it does bring back some nostalgia, even with the annoying, repetitive tune!
Stream best score was 78,800 which I've already beaten and I'll try to improve if time allows!
