Designing Success
On episode 9 viewers will hear from industry experts on what makes a successful invention and why today is the best time in recent decades to be an independent inventor.
Experts that will weigh in include Joanne Hayes-Rhines, founder and editor of Inventors Digest, Doug Hall, founder of invention think-tank Eureka Ranch and Jack Lander, the inventor of the programmable thermostat.
The design team will begin to flesh out Rebecca's grading pen concept and Jen's workout device through ideation, while the engineering team builds a proof of concept prototype from Joe's own industrial design concept of his cutting board system.
This episode first aired on public television stations around the country in 2007.
