When you are building a nice piece of furniture you want to give it a beautiful finish but choosing the right stain can be challenging.

I have learned one lesson the hard way and that is never choose a stain without testing it first. The same stain can look completely different depending on the type of wood and that is especially true for beech wood.

In this video I will show you how I prefinish my parts before assembly and share a few cabinet shop tips that can save you from costly finishing mistakes.
