When time is money and both are in short supply, I take advantage of anything I can do to help keeps the sawmill operation in motion. Today I get down to work as I square up some red pine logs while dreaming about board edgers. If you've sawn lumber for any length of time, you know how challenging it can be to edge boards on a sawmill. You may also know how sometimes you do like I do and avoid the chore all together which leads to waste. Check out the Clarke Board Edger ripping through some 2 inch ash boards on a recent trip of mine from a few months back down at the Clarke Portable Sawmill shop.
