Sometimes when I’m painting, memories quietly show up on the canvas.
This mixed media piece started as creating with texture and layers, but it slowly became a reflection of my childhood...growing up with my siblings, the small moments, the laughter, and the stories we carry with us.
Art has a way of holding memories that words sometimes can’t. ..and gives great material for creating artwork! This painting is a little piece of those early years.
