Georgia! The Peach State is home to 11 units of the National Park System, and yet not a single "Big 63" Park. That fact alone makes it a prime candidate for this series, as I aim to highlight those parks which might not get all the attention, but that provide tremendous recreational, natural, cultural, and historical value to our nation. In Georgia, this is places like Cumberland Island, Ocmulgee Mounds (rumored to be the next National Park), Kennesaw Mountain, and the Chattahoochee River.
