Gail Joyce, a Gold Star mother and surviving spouse, shares lessons she's learned as a survivor since her husband Larry Joyce died in 1999. Larry served 20 years in the US Army, including two tours in Vietnam.

Gail is the chair of MOAA's Surviving Spouse Advisory Council and member of the MOAA Board of Directors. She regularly presents to MOAA chapters and other groups across the country.
