Lars of the Stars might be shifting focus to the eternal teenager and his crew of Off Colors but that doesn’t mean Steven and the Crystal Gems are going to vanish from the story without a trace. In fact, Rebecca Sugar is referring to this upcoming series as a “sequel” to Steven Universe, meaning that we can probably expect a lot of fan favorites to pop up - gems and humans! So I made a list of over 20 characters from the Steven Universe franchise that I’m confident will make an appearance in Lars of the Stars like Garnet, Emerald, Spinel and Jasper, and the role they’ll play within the greater narrative - including gems who have never been animated in any of the shows, but have made their mark on the story through the games!
