Some of the creepiest and coolest things in the Efteling theme park are the talking trash-eaters, known as Gijs. They suck down any trash you put into their mouths, and then thank you for feeding them. It's a brilliant way to reduce litter in the park, but everything about them, from their weird voices to their distorted faces is... off.

I'm a little obsessed with them, so when I was there in October, I decided to find every trash-eater in the park and shove paper into all of their mouths! Unfortunately, the Buccaneer Gijs was behind Pinocchio construction walls, so I couldn't film him.
