hellooooo i have missed you!!! im back from my little holiday in the states and spent 10 days in my home quarantining here in seoul and that meant lots of reading time :) i hope your 2022 is off to a great start and thank you always for your recommendations (and hi to all the new faces! welcome to the fam^^)
*I don't want any misunderstandings so I want to clarify that when I'm talking about the slavery in England bit in The Kingdoms, I meant that his role of being enslaved added nothing to the plot and it was so fleeting and set up so strangely that I was really taken aback. Obviously there was slavery in England at the time (just coming to an end a few decades later) I wasn't shocked by that, I was just confused as to the way it was used and then discarded as a plot point? Thanks for understanding!
