Over the years, I’ve slowed with my book buying, only purchasing books unavailable from my library, highly-anticipated reads, or used books usually $5 or less. It’s helped curb my increasing physical TBR, which is only 35 unread books, and I try never to exceed that amount because anything more makes me anxious, as a reader.
While I have received a great number of amazing titles from publishers and my wishlist, these are just the books I personally bought myself to brighten my mood.
