The Dell was the former home of Southampton FC before the Saints moved to the St Mary's Stadium in the summer of 2001. It was not a happy hunting ground for Blackburn Rovers in the 90s, however, with Rovers never recording a win at the venue. In seven fixtures at The Dell between the two sides during 1992-99, Rovers ended up drawing three of those, whilst also losing on four occasions.
The last meeting between the sides at the famous stadium was a relegation six pointer in the Premier League, in April 1999. The game ended 3-3 with Rovers squandering a 3-1 lead that afternoon.
Rovers scored a total of six goals at The Dell over a seven year period and here are those goals.
