Mike takes a look at Everspace, the latest game from Galaxy on Fire developers Rockfish Games. Having just launched in early access, Everspace is a gorgeous looking rogue-like space shooter that sees you exploring a vast system as you hunt for resources, fight multiple enemies and work to upgrade your ship and character abilities in order to go further and further into the unknown. Death has its rewards too, ultimately giving you access to better gear for your next run. Gorgeous, exciting and perfectly suited for both lengthy endurance survival challenges, or short five-minute gameplay bursts. Everspace feels like a cross between FTL and the promises of No Man's Sky, and will quickly have you in awe of Han Solo types everywhere.
