The simmer feature is excellent - with simmer times at over 30+ minutes on 2 ounces of alcohol fuel. Boiled two cups of water in a Snow Peak 700 mug, taking 9 minutes and 10 seconds, in simmer mode. Faster boil times are possible using the Evernew Titanium Alcohol Stove Cross Stand or similar stand. Evernew Titanium Alcohol Stove weighs 1 1/8 oz (35 grams)
