Architects of a New Weave is the 15th studio album by Swedish progressive metal band Evergrey, released on June 5, 2026 by Napalm Records. The album represents a phase of renewal for the Gothenburg band, known as "masterminds of melancholia". After lineup changes—including the departure of guitarist Henrik Danhage (for the second time) and drummer Jonas Ekdahl—the group incorporated new members and fresh influences, while maintaining the melancholic, atmospheric, and emotional essence that has defined their career since the 1990s.
Produced by Tom S. Englund and Vikram Shankar (Silent Skies, with stints in Within Temptation and Pain of Salvation), with mixing by Adam "Nolly" Getgood. The cover art is by Mattias Norén. Vikram Shankar brings a notable influence, adding melodic fluidity, energy, and a more vibrant touch to the band's classic sound.
