The Evercade series of devices are very interesting cartridge-based handhelds that have a very loyal following and community. One thing the community likes to do is replace the stock TN screen in the Gen 1 Evercade Handheld with an IPS screen originally meant for the PSP 1000.
This video gives a detailed tutorial on how to open up the unit and swap out this screen.
