It is a brutal winter day here in Northern Michigan, and let me tell you, it feels like we are living on the planet Hoth! With temperatures hitting 0°F and a real feel of -24°F with the wind chill, even our Siberian Huskies, Memphis, Kira, and Eleanor, are finding it a bit much. In today’s vlog, you’ll see how we manage the extreme cold, from frozen windows to "squeaky snow," and why Kira—our resident ice princess—was actually the first one begging to come back inside!
We also spent some time winterizing the home office to block out that waterfall of cold air. Plus, there is a very special surprise for Memphis! Since she hasn't been sleeping on our bed as much lately, we got her a massive new Snoozer orthopedic lounge bed. Seeing her curled up and comfortable makes these sub-zero temperatures much easier to bear.

💃 Witnessing Kira do the "paw dance" because the ground is so cold.
🔊 Listening to the unique "squeak" of the snow in sub-zero temps.
💤 Memphis sleeping soundly all night on her brand-new bed.
