Well this is a little Christmas present I bought for myself and it's the Booster Boxx made by Schlagwerk and it's extraordinary.
It's one of the the deepest cajons I think I've ever come across. It really is incredible, and it's one of those that, you know, whenever you do play cajons you really do feel it throughout the body, but with this one you feel as though you're sinking into a volcano, because the base is just so incredibly responsive.
I'm obviously up here with a lot of other instruments, so there could be other things resonating, so don't feel that that's coming from the actual cajon itself. So we'll just bear in mind but it's also the kind of drum whereby you don't want to get too busy with it because you just want to register that bass sound.
It is quite wide - especially if you've got short legs like me - but it's just incredibly responsive.
