The Crusader is an incredible Frigate duelist. And has a lot of favorable matchups with most Frigates and is probably the strongest Combat Interceptor for 1v1's / solo work currently. It has high damage, is fast and is actually the most agile Combat Interceptor since the agility nerf to Interceptors in Rubicon 1.3.
The Crusader does however require a lot of micromanagement and is heavily reliant on positioning to use effectively. Therefore it is a ship that new players should probably shy from. I would recommend flying a Taranis or a similar fit Claw which is not as effective but having Capless Guns and a weapon system that isn't screwed by bad tracking is a good point of break-in.
