It was with great sadness I heard about the passing of Pastor Buddy Tipton a while back. Pastor Buddy was a Pastor with a big letter P. He was a good listener and always gave advice. Because of Pastor Buddy I came in contact with Pastor Dave Robertson at Fountain of Life Church in Okeechobee, Florida where I later became an ordained minister of the Gospel. So without Pastor Buddy opening up his office for this total stranger I found a church in the USA that became my home. A church who believed in our ministry and I became an ordained minister of the Gospel.
Pastor Buddy was my favorite redneck. He loved hunting and fishing and he always had a joke or a fun story to tell. He is no longer with us but we thank God for connecting our paths. I am sure our Father welcomed him into His eternal Kingdom with the words; well done my faithful servant.
