The most popular type of car currently on sale in the UK are EV SUVs. It seems they offer the best combination of practicality, ride height and economy. And mid-sized SUVs, at around £35-£45k, are the most popular sub category. So, we are going to take 4 leading models and find out which is best, the Skoda Enyaq, which got a brilliant team test score last series. The Hyundai Ioniq 5, which flew around the NC500. The Volvo XC40 Recharge which is Europe’s best selling premium SUV. And finally, something more left of field, the Lexus UX. Each round will eliminate one of the cars. In test 1 we look at road manners.
