A comparative study of a particularly fascinating creation myth from ancient Egypt sourced from Ev Cochrane's "The Case of the Turquoise Sun" his latest book.
The Horus-child atop a lotus flower represents a popular theme in Egyptian religious iconography—such as the famous sculpture from the tomb of King Tut showing the youthful sun-god emerging from a lotus flower.
