She Knows - Digital speed art Letitia Pfinder 2020-06-13 | In this video I talk about the inspiration behind this work and the challenges I had set for myself while creating it. I had a lot of fun playing around with this as I am adapting my style a bit. I started off with a pencil sketch and brought that into procreate on my iPad and continued it on from there. As stated I used my iPad, procreate, and also a ipencil to create this. Adding some more realistic elements into my work has been both challenging and exciting and I will continue to explore this. Watercolour Fantasy Time Lapse - Earth Walker Letitia Pfinder 2016-07-23 | "Earth Walker" was created with water colour on canvas with some microns to outline and some white gel pen for accents. I have been playing around with using the watercolour and canvas combination and this is one of the pieces I have ended up with while experimenting. The paint behaves differently on canvas than it does on paper so, it has been a bit of a learning curve. I am having a lot of fun with it though and I like the results. Anniversary Portrait Time Lapse Drawing Letitia Pfinder 2016-07-03 | This video features a drawing of my partner and I for our 7 year anniversary. It was done with charcoal on bristol paper. Once it was finished I sprayed it with fixative and framed it, it was a nice gift that we can hang in our home now. Watercolour Time Lapse- Pride Blossoming - #prayfororlando Tribute Letitia Pfinder 2016-06-14 | "Pride Blossoming" is a watercolour painting (turned into a speed art) in honour and in support of those affected by the horrendous violence and loss of life suffered by those in Oralando. I had originally planned to do something for Pride this year (the parade is coming up in Toronto soon) but in the aftermath of recent events I created this while I was working through my own thoughts, emotions, and grief. This flag and flower represent so much more to me than just that, they represent a community coming together, it represents all the young beautiful people this world lost entirely too soon, it represents hope; hope for a brighter future, where love is love, where stuff like this does not happen in our wildest dreams. I tried to voice this video over but I wasn't able to get the words out, my heart is broken and my soul is tired. This time lapse video isn't much but it is what I could offer, it is my tribute. My condolences to anyone who lost a loved one this past weekend or to anyone who has lost a loved one due to hate.We need more love and less hate. Follow Along Friday - Cute Valentines for a Class Letitia Pfinder 2016-01-30 | Follow along while I show you how to make these adorable lollipop holders for valentine's day!
