Europa-Park completely changed pace today. After a full-on first day packed with the major coasters and headline attractions, this second day was all about uncovering the hidden gems — the quirky dark rides, charming themed areas, smaller coasters, and family rides that most people rush straight past.
From the underwater world of Snorri Touren, to the eccentric charm of Madame Freudenreich Curiosités, to Pegasus, Matterhorn Blitz, Swiss Bob, Alpenexpress VR and a load of unexpected little attractions… Europa-Park kept surprising me with just how much variety it offers.
Even with the cold weather forcing a few big coasters to stay closed, we were never short of things to do. In fact, this slower, more detailed day made me appreciate Europa-Park even more — the theming, the storytelling, and the sheer number of attractions here are unbelievable.
If you’ve only ever seen Europa-Park’s headline coasters… you’re missing half the magic.
Today, we uncover the side of the park that most visitors never see.
