In 2025, the EUROCONTROL Innovation Hub (EIH) conducted 220 days of SESAR validation activities for a range of priority solutions spanning trajectory-based operations (TBO), network management, civil-military cooperation, sustainability and new entrant integration.
We achieved key progress on ATC and Network TBO projects, AI-driven network tools for demand-capacity balancing and suborbital operations solutions.
We delivered the first labelled contrail dataset via ContrailNet, supported 20 Member States in drone-related activities, handed over 7 user-driven innovation projects for deployment, and advanced our simulator modernisation project in close collaboration with ANSPs.
Meanwhile, the EIH’s move to Paris-Saclay Innovation Playground remains on schedule, with construction starting in 2026.
