Ive had the concept for this song in my head for a while less musically and more lyrically. While people have in good faith called me The Queen of Eurobeat, its not a title I can accept while Clara Moroni (Cherry), Domino, Pamsy, Norma Sheffield, or Elena Feretti still walk this earth. On the other hand, I thought an Empress would be pretty fun to be! So I wrote a song about aspiring to be that.

One thing I adore about Numis music is, whether the song is serious or silly (or literally about being a big ol bunnygirl going pyon-pyon, the Japanese onomatopoeia for hop hop), the song still un-ironically slaps. Theres a reason Im drawn to her work in terms of remixesโ even if youre not a fan of eurobeat, or even a fan of Vtubers, I think you owe it to yourself to check out her music.
REGARDING LYRICSโ I saw the ones on Genius, but some of the words didnt seem 100% on. If I had the sense for what the lyrics COULD be in that moment, I wrote that; otherwise, I went with whats on Genius. Chances are what Ive got on here is *wrong*. ๐
(I may re-do the visuals with accurate lyrics if/when the time comes? Re-release I guess?)
