EufyMake has now released two official air-management solutions for the E1 UV printer: the EufyMake Air Purifier P1 and a dedicated E1 Exhaust Kit. Both connect directly to the E1, but they approach the problem of fumes, smells and airborne contaminants in completely different ways.
The P1 is a standalone air purifier designed specifically around the EufyMake E1. It replaces the printer's standard internal filter connection with a dedicated exhaust duct and larger external filtration system, while Wi-Fi integration allows it to pair with the E1 and automatically activate whenever a print job starts.
The alternative is EufyMake's dedicated Exhaust Kit. Rather than filtering the air and returning it to the room, this uses an inline extraction fan and 2-inch ducting to give you a way of routing the E1's exhaust towards a window, wall vent or an existing ventilation system.
In this video, I'm looking at both systems side-by-side, including installation, the new E1 duct adapter, hose connections, automatic control, fan noise, positioning and how each option fits into an actual E1 workspace.
I'm also testing the E1 with its original filtration, without filtration, with the new air-management systems and with the printer open and closed to see what my VOC meter can actually detect. This isn't laboratory equipment, so I'm not pretending it can give us definitive air-quality measurements, but it does give us another data point alongside the much more obvious question of how well each setup deals with the smell produced during UV printing.
