In this video I was inspired to do something I've never done before!
I pulled out my Crowley Thoth deck to compare the pip card meanings with the Etteilla pips.
A great learning experience for me as looking at most decks is.
Etteilla by Marco Benedetti and the Aleister Crowley Thoth deck was painted by Lady Frieda Harris and published by US Games Systems Inc. My publication was 2012.
Although I've read books on the Crowley deck, I can't say that I remember any of it. My commentary is strictly based on my visual observations. One thing is evident, despite whatever one thinks of Crowley, Lady Frieda Harris' artwork is beautiful.
