Hello, neighbor, this is Curt with etrailer, and today we're going to be taking a look at the Front Runner Storage Deck. This is a cargo management system that is intended for the Wolf Pack Pro Storage Boxes from Front Runner. The storage boxes are not included, but if you're familiar with these, they've been a favorite for campers for a long time. Now, this is going to fit four of these Wolf Pack Pro boxes, and there is a version of these where you can get a higher lid. It is not gonna be compatible with the high-lid version of these, so just the standard. But these are going to be great for carrying all sorts of things, whether you're camping or going to a job site.
So, for instance, I've got my power station. It can hold your straps. It's the perfect height for your disposable propane tanks. You could put things in here, like any kind of recovery tools you might need. Anything for auto care.
We've got a puncture kit here for your tires, but you could also put in your jumper cables. You could also put in your towing components, different ball mounts, safety chains, all sorts of things that you could use these boxes for. And being able to keep them stored nicely, and if you have anything more delicate in here stored securely, it can be a huge bonus. It's also going to be great for your truck bed because it is going to confine the space to these exactly where you need them, while still leaving some space around it. And that's because this is the narrow style of the storage deck.
There is a symmetrical version as well, but when you're using it in a truck bed like this, the narrow style is going to allow you for those longer items, just give you a bit of room on each side in order to store those longer items. Now, this is not intended to be in an open space. We do have a tonneau cover on our truck today. That's how you would really want to transport with this, or in an enclosed camper, or something like that. When it comes to the symmetrical version, like I said before, I just wouldn't use it in here because it's just gonna take up too much room.
It's gonna be a little bit shorter as well, so you're gonna have to reach a little bit further to get into your boxes. Now, this top deck up here can be used for storage as well. It's got about a 175-pound weight capacity. And on the narrow version, it is going to be carpeted. And if you have a tonneau cover, you're gonna be able to see that, you know, whatever can fit on this, underneath whatever cover you have, you're gonna have some space to work with as far as that goes. You're going to even be able to come around and put your tie-downs around on the rail here, so you can keep any cargo up here secure as well. And here on the side, you can see they do leave a cavity here for you to put a hook through for any kind of cargo netting or anything you wanna put for cargo on this top deck. There's also a couple of open threaded holes here if you wanted to screw in an eyelet or something like that. And another great thing about the storage deck is that it's not really a permanent storage solution in the case that it is a permanent install. These are just going to simply tie down to your tie-downs in your bed here in all four corners. The idea is you want them going out at an angle here toward the tailgate and another angle going out toward the cab. They'll all pull against each other and it's gonna make this basically a mobile back here. And with as tight as it holds these boxes in place, you're not gonna have to worry about that cargo jostling around at all. So, the way it works is you've got these springs up here installed. They got a little bit of give to them. They're going to hold your boxes in place really, really well, and they're rounded so that you don't end up scratching up the lids of your box. Now, when we first installed them, they we inchesre really stiff. We had to kind of go in from the side and lift the spring up and make sure it guided it over the box. But to my surprise, we didn't really have to train it. We only had to do that once. We almost immediately pulled it back out, and it slid right back in into place. Now, this is a universal fit. So if you wanna determine how it's going to fit in your truck bed, I'm about to give you the dimensions. It's 42 5/8 inch long, 36 3/8 inch wide, and it's 12 1/4 inches tall if you have a tonneau cover and you wanna figure out just how much room you have to store on top of it. Now, if the
