令和3年11月5日に、今世紀半ばまでに脱炭素（温室効果ガス排出量実質ゼロ）を実現する日本のパスウェイについて議論するため、産学連携プラットフォームであるETI-CGC（Energy Transition Initiative – Center for Global Commons）が立ち上がりました。 この動画は、英国グラスゴーのCOP26会場で同日実施したETI-CGCオフィシャルローンチイベントの模様です。

東京大学は、ETI-CGCを通じて脱炭素の達成に向けた日本の経済社会システムの転換に学術の立場から貢献してまいります。

ETI-CGC (Energy Transition Initiative – Center for Global Commons), a platform of industry-academia collaboration was launched on November 5, 2021 with an aim to develop Japan's pathways to achieve decarbonization (net zero greenhouse gas emissions) by mid-century. This video shows the ETI-CGC official launch event held on the same day at the COP26 venue in Glasgow.

Through the ETI-CGC, the University of Tokyo will contribute from an academic standpoint to Japan's economic and social system transition required for achieving decarbonization.
