We recently researched 28 outdoor gear companies to assess their impact on the environment.
Only a handful seemed to be taking their commitments to the natural world seriously.
One of the biggest environmental issues in the outdoor gear market is the use of PFCs.
These chemicals are very damaging for the environment and our health.
Shockingly of the 28 companies we researched only four (14%) did not use any PFCs.
Over half of the 28 had no phase-out date for their use of PFCs.
86% of companies were still using PFCs.
Four companies were not even acknowledging the issue
