I'm back. I was out of town for a while and will be leaving again soon because I'm moving. I found this game randomly and decided to run it.
The previous best time was 1:31. I ran both routes for about 2 hours total including the time it took me to figure out the launch glitch...so they can both be improved.
In the first run I use a glitch at 0:37 that I found accidentally that makes no sense to me but I found a way to get it consistently. As far as I can tell it's related to the checkpoint and falling in the lava. At 0:27 I jump higher than is normally possible to reach the platform....I don't know why this works either but I can get it consistently from that spot. This high jump should work everywhere which can save even more time but I didn't play it long enough to really figure it out.
The second run is done without the launch glitch but I use the high jump once.
