I'm in Minneapolis for the annual TKGA Knitting Retreat where I took some classes taught by Beth Brown-Reinsel. My class this morning was to experiment with an Estonian colorwork technique called Roosimine. Coincidentally, Sidra has been working on a sweater that uses that technique and was able to show how beautiful it can be (as opposed to what my little sample swatch was like).
Beth also taught a class on the Cowichan sweaters produced by Coast Salish people, one of the First nation tribes of Canada (knitwithpurpose.com/). Sumner told of us a documentary about them and Cindy, as usual, looked for it and found this video:
