Earlier this year, in episode 317, I reviewed the Sega CD Hockey game that everyone knows and loves, NHL '94. It, as was expected, was a great game. If I'm being honest though, it still wasn't perfect, due to EA stubbornly sticking to only a single game and tournament mode, with no season mode available.

This week, we look at the OTHER Hockey game for Sega CD, ESPN National Hockey Night, which features that very desirable season mode, but does that mean it's a better game? Take a look to find out:
