ESP8266: Controling a LED Matrix with two 74HC595 @techtutorialsx11

This video shows a 5X5 LED matrix being controlled by an ESP8266. To do so, we only used 3 pins of the microcontroller, since 2 74HC595 ICs were used (one for the rows and the other for the columns of the matrix.

The 74HC595 ICs are controlled via SPI.

The video shows the controlling of each LED at a time.
