Today we ended up going for a VKA Hard mode with a bunch of people with limited to NO idea of what to expect. Showing just how FAST a potential PROG can be, given the right tools and information.
Many people talk smack about how good their "prog is" or even just use the word PROG as a flex, but in actual fact they do anything BUT "PROGRESS"...
They actually spend more time recycling players and arguing in NSFW discord chats than getting content done. Then when they DO finally go into content, they are chasing the one way they have heard of rather than playing the game, learning, and working out their strengths rather than force-ably attempting something they are not ready for and exposing their weaknesses. USUALLY scape goated as a "difficulty level" and not understanding that the method maybe their subjective issue.
Today we grabbed a bunch of LAZY SORCS and showed just how easy this stuff CAN be if you condense some of the complications, and bring the right tool for the job.
Complex builds to inexperienced players, create a difficulty level far higher than that of the content, and then people are expected to perform? It's like trying to fly by flapping your arms, instead of simply finding your seat on a plane.
If the build is easy to use, you have more time to think, and need far slower reaction speeds when presented with mechanics. Simplifying your play style takes a LOT of the difficulty away.
Making the content EASIER by default.
