Skip to 2:11 for CMX.

This setup is very similar to Inquisitor Mordrak's, but with a second armor set (Kinras) instead of 2 Zaan. This gave me the same Single Target (ST) damage but with more Area of Effect (AoE) potential.

Pros & Cons of Oakensoul DK...
Pros: Infinite sustain, Very easy to play, Pretty Good ST, Built-in Major Breach
Cons: Can get boring, Pretty Bad Self-Heals, Bad AoE

Since 1-Bar is so simple, it's not worth coming up with a Static Rotation. Just spam Whip and recast DoTs when you see they ran out. To beginners: don't get too comfortable with Oakensoul, eventually you will have to get good at 2-bar :)

If you want more AoE damage at the cost of Magicka sustain, replace Venomous Claw with Burning Talons. If you need self-heals, change Venomous Claw to Burning Embers morph. If you need a more burst-y heal, slot Coagulating Blood.

I also got 96-97K in a few other setups but Kinras/Pillar is both the most accessible and most AoE potential.

Attributes: 64 Magicka
Race - Either Dark Elf or High Elf (I used Dark Elf)
Potion - Tri-pots (Columbine, Bugloss, Mountain Flower)
Mundus - Thief
Food - Green (Single-stat) Max Magicka Food*

*In content use Blue Bi-Stat food (Max Health & Max Magicka). Ghastly Eye Bowl or Witchmother's Potent Brew are good choices to help Mag sustain if Health isn't really necessary.
