Skip to 3:03 for CMX.

Pretty much the same thing as every other patch except for the gear. This kind of setup is mostly just for single target fights or fights with tightly packed mobs. Whorl can be replaced with Relequen for very similar results.

In raids or dungeons (assuming you have a different source of Major Brutality/Sorcery), replace Degen with Trap and put Talons front bar.

New changes related to the DK and Raid Dummy:
1.) Molten Whip now has a split cost to cast (half stam/half mag). This gives DKs really good sustain but you can run out of the opposite resource if you're not careful.
2.) Raid Dummy received new and updated buffs/debuffs (i.e. Major Slayer, Minor Courage, 6000 pen from Alkosh, Elemental Catalyst and a couple other small changes)

With the new Raid Dummy changes, most parses will be inflated compared to High Isle parses. This 125k parse is more like 110k or so in High Isle patch.

For MagDKs in raids, you have the option to use Bahsei, Whorl, Siroria, Sul-Xan or Relequen and pair it with Pillar, Kinras or Tzogvin depending on the trial/fight. Pillar might be the most popular non-Trial set option. Each set has its own pros and cons so plan accordingly.

Coral Riptide isn't really an option for MagDKs anymore since Whip will eat all your stamina when you're trying to keep it low. Siroria (which got buffed) would be the better option.
