This video presents a salvage ESD for the resection of recurrent polyp of the cecum previously treated with EMR/APC using ITKnife nano.
In contrast with the rectum, the wall of the right colon is very thin. Thus dissection with tip cutting knifes may induce deep injury or perforation. In addition, lesions of the cecum are tangential to the endoscope making inadvertent perforation quite often. These problems could be managed with the use of blunt tip knives such as the ''tiny'' version of the well known IT knife, which is called ITKnife nano.
