GERETTE BUGLION is an author and educator, offering cult education and recovery, having spent eighteen years in a New York-based therapy cult.

Through dream analysis, astrology and retreat work, Gerette fell under the spell of the founder of CTL - the Center for Transformational Learning - until a series of disturbing events forced her to leave.

Her book, An Everyday Cult, is out now and is an account of how coercive groups are being forced to use increasingly subtle techniques in order to exert control over their members.
