Rock 'n' Sonic The Hedgehog: Sessions is a digital album containing remixes of songs from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. The remixes debuted on the Sonic the Hedgehog social media a few months prior with the exception of "Live & Learn - Acoustic Version", which was released a day after the album's release, and "Beyond The Speed Of... Remix", which first appeared in Sonic Racing. It also contains the remixes from the Sonic the Hedgehog Throwback Collection Vol.1.

"Escape from the City" is the song played in City Escape, the first level of the Hero Story in Sonic Adventure 2. It was composed by Jun Senoue and performed by Ted Poley and Tony Harnell.
