I have Damaged Laminate Flooring. In this episode we will focus on Removal of these boards. I tried to hunt down new boards to match the ones I have...but no luck. It appears that those Trafficmaster boards are discontinued. So I picked up a few cases of the same brand found at the Home Depot. The wood tone is different but I have no wish to replace the entire living room, hallway and kitchen. So the idea is to lift all the damage and consolidate as many good boards as I can. The remaining space will then have the new boards. Sometimes when funds are limited, you have to do what you have to do. In a perfect scenario, I'd change out the whole of the laminate flooring...but it's not an option I want to live with this time around.
I could of coarse go with tile or even those square vinyl flooring solutions...but this is where I'm at. So check it out. I'll have more home repair adventures coming soon.
