This is a mix of some short videos I took of Erik Lawrence & friends playing one hot summer night in 2007, in the back yard of the Hopper House, Nyack, NY.

There was an "On the Road" Jack Kerouac meets Van Gogh kind of energy to the evening. I was hanging in the back with my buddy Ken, calmly enjoying the music, drinking beers when Erik started jamming this tune on this baritone sax, sending the notes out like sparks into the night...

I had a small digital camera with me that allowed only short 30 sec video clips. These I've tried to remix here in a way that expresses the creative energy of Erik and the band's playing that evening...
