Silent 8mm film from July 1974 on the EL New York Division. Since the U34CHs were purchased with New Jersey state money there was a legal holdup on them running to Port Jervis, so the older E-units and Stillwell coaches continued on the Port Jervis trains for a few years after the U34s and Comet coaches arrived. That being said, it seemed EL would "borrow" U34s for freight trains on weekends.
