I found a local FB marketplace listing for NOS Mavica FD200 cameras. He wasn't sure how many he had because they were stored in the loft of his pole barn/garage. After securing a ladder, I ascended to find seven cameras in total! Counting the unboxed camera he opened to post photographs of the camera on marketplace, he had eight cameras in all.
He still has four cameras left. I purchased four, two for friends, the unboxed one for myself, and the last just because.
Let's see if the open box camera works!
Introduced by Sony in 2002, the FD200 offers many fine features:
- 1600x1200 image resolution at 2 megapixels
- JPEG or uncompressed TIFF file format
- MPEG video
- 37 to 111 mm focal length
- F3.8 to 3.9 aperture
- macro focus range of 3 cm
- 3x optical zoom
- 10 sec self timer
- ISO 100, 200, 400
- 2 to 1/500 sec shutter speed
- 1.4 MB floppy disk or Sony MemoryStick storage
- USB 1.0
